Array

From BISim Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

An array holds a list of elements which can be of any data type, and can even be other arrays (i.e. for "nested" arrays).

Configs

Some properties in config files (an addon's config.cpp or a mission's description.ext) may have to be declared as arrays.
This is done by having square brackets after the property name, and enclosing the data elements in curly brackets:

color[] = {1,0,0,1};

Scripts

In scripts, variables that should be arrays do not require any special syntax for the name, and the data elements are enclosed in square brackets:

_color = [1,0,0,1];

See Category:Arrays for more details.
